Mission Accomplished for Space Cadets

Last weekend (1st & 2nd July), the Space Cadets were reunited at the 9th Relay for Life Aylesbury. Throughout the weekend, the team took turns walking laps of the track, with one member of the team on track at all times. The team also organised a number of fun activities to help boost their fundraising, including hook a duck, a raffle, guess the wight of the cake and name the rabbit.

The theme for the weekend was “Back to School” and there were also a number of themed laps, involving team members dressing up in costumes to match the theme. Karen Munson, our Strategic Officer, spent an entire hour walking round the track in full hockey goalkeeper kit, winning a basket of goodies for the best costume.

Check out some of our photos from the weekend below (click an image to see the full picture):

We’re just finalising the total raised but it’s not too late to show your support – please visit our fundraising page.

We’ll announce the grand total following the Big Reveal in October.
